Brownsville Assembly

Dear Pastor Evon,
Friday night at prayer meeting, I was walking around praying, when all of a sudden, God had set me free from all bondages in my life. It felt so good. I mean, I can't even describe the *** feeling that God allowed me to feel. I am so grateful that he did what he did. I am so happy and amazed at what god is doing in my life. THE RIVER IS FLOWING! For once in my life, I am the person that God wants me to be. I have never felt so good. Have you ever had that feeling? The one that you feel like you have failed, and then as you are thinking that, you are set free from all of the shackles and the chains and the bondages. There is an outpouring from the Holy Spirit in Brownsville Assembly of God. The floodgates of Heaven are opening and you can feel it the second you walk in that door. Thank You for all support and wisdom!

Today while at her fathers' house my daughter drug the coffee pot down on top of her. She screamed and cried and was covered in blood her father called 911. An ambulance came and got her. I was at work and got a call from her father telling me what had happened and that they were on the way to the hospital. The EMT tried to explain her injuries to me. I got to the E.R. before they arrived. I was praying since I got the call and just prayed to god to let my little girl be ok. When I went back she had bandages on her hand foot and elbow. The only injuries she had was two small but deep cuts one on her pinkie finger and the other on her pinkie toe. The burn on her elbow was hardly visible and now since we have been home it has all but gone away. My little girl recieved a divine moment from her and my greastest protector and savior Jesus Christ. I am eternally greatful that the Lord had his wings of protection around my little angel.

Just had to share with you what God has done. First of all this month I have been having trouble with my blood pressure dropping. Then this last weekend it dropped so bad that Sat. I was out of it. But thank God he kept his hands on me. Then Sunday by the time I had walked from my car to Tony Hnter's class I really felt like it was going to drop some more. There was a lady who prayed for me and I felt better. When I went to the T.V. room and they told me it looked like I needed to sit down and that I did not need to climb the stairs. I told them that I needed prayer. They told me to go on out there and that you were still praying. So I did and Pastor Ed asked me what was wrong and I told him my blood pressure was dropping. I got prayer again. I called my doctor Monday morning and they told me not to take anything until after they could see me. So yesterday I went in and saw my doctor, but I told her to start with that God had already healed me and I needed to come off of my blood pressure Rx. She said well lets check it out. So she listened and talked some more and told me that she knew God could heal. Then she said lets listen again. Then she said "yes, I think He did" So all I have to do is watch it and I have numbers to go by, but I'm not going to have to take any more meds.
Oh my God is so good. I'm on cloud 9 right now! Just had to share it with someone!

Dear Dr. Horton,
I want to thank you for inviting Clive Pick to your church. I attended the early morning service and his teaching an answer to my prayers. He answered every question I’ve ever had about tithing and I feel at peace now. I’ve been praying that God would reveal the spiritual world to me and Clive Pick opened the world of spiritual laws and how they are a s real as natural laws. I purchased his book and DVD as well. I did a Google search on your church and saw that Mr. Pick would be teaching at your church last Saturday. I’ve seen your sermons and teachings on TV and the internet and they minister to me. Your teaching is easy to understand and it applies to everyday life. Your teaching has helped me spiritually as well. I just want to take the time to write and let you know how much I’ve been helped and educated on how God wants me to live and that even as those who obeyed God in the Bible had victory and blessings then we can too – here and now. Thank you!

On oct 31st 1999 we had been a married christian couple for 26 years. That evening we began praying together as a couple for the first time in 26 yrs and it was while we attended the revival at Brownsville.
Things began to happen with an immediate answer to many prayers and shortly after God called us into full time ministry.
Upon returning to our home in Newfoundland Canada, we purchased a bottle of anointing oil for our pastor. We were secretly praying about the call to ministry and asking the Lord for confirmations. God gave us at least three major confirmations one of which is the subject of this testimony.
The first sunday back home we were asked to play for a quartet to sing. After practice the Lord spoke very clearly for me to anoint the lips of the singers. I reluctantly did this and one of the singers became drunk in the spirit to all of our surprises and they left. Hours later my mom called and asked what I did to Paul the drunkin singer? I said nothing! She said his mom called and said "he has been laying on the floor laughing, crying, laughing, and some more crying and now he is saying, God i can't take anymore give it to some other people"!
ON sunday night we had three guys standinging upright singing and Paul never got to a standing position because he was bent over with the weighty presence of the Lord for the whole service until he was assisted out and home after the service was over.
People started calling and asking to be anointined with this precious anointing oil and many miracles were experienced by the power of God.
WE are now full time pastors in Gander NL and after two years needing a time of relaxation and spiritual refreshing we returned to Brownsville. We were so pleased by the sence of something fresh happening at Brownsville. Then right when we did not expect it, Dr. Horton come to our seat and prophesied over us and mentioned anointed lips and how the Lord was about to anoint my lips. We were totally refreshed, encouraged and restored, halelujah!!! There so so much more but too long for this space!!!
