Life of Christ: 3 Credits
This course is a study of the life of Christ from the viewpoint of the Synoptic Gospels – Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Life of Christ helps the student grasp the chronological progression and the spiritual significance of the important events in Christ’s life. It enables the student to preach and teach about Christ with greater understanding and effectiveness, and Christ with greater understanding and effectiveness, and it challenges him or her to follow Christ personally with greater dedication and stronger devotion in service to Him.

Pneumatology: 3 Credits
This course is a biblical study of the person, work, gifts, and ministry of the Holy Spirit as taught in both the Old and New Testaments. Special attention is given to the biblical teaching concerning the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the Spirit-filled life.

God and Angels: 2 Credits
This course is a study of the biblical doctrines of God and angels. The first part of the study focuses on the biblical view of the existence, nature, attributes, and works of God. It has been written to help the student understand the will and purpose of God better and to develop a closer relationship with Him. The second part of the study concerns the origin, nature, purpose, and activity of angels. It is designed to help the student understand more fully their work, purpose, limitations, and ultimate destiny.

Evangelism Today: 2 Credits
This course deals with the biblical principles and modern techniques of effective evangelism. It examines some of the underlying causes of success or failure with a positive emphasis on how God is working through His people today. Examples from many different countries show how basic methods can be used in a great variety of ways. The Bible teaching on sin and salvation is given as an essential part of training in how to share the message. The course shows the student how to apply modern principles of communications and of church growth to evangelism. Methods of both personal and mass evangelism are presented.

The Work of the Pastor: 2 Credits
The Work of the Pastor is a study that focuses on the pastor's call to and preparation for Christian ministry. It examines the relationships that are vital to successful ministry, and it reviews the pastor's primary responsibilities. Based on the books of 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, this course enables the student to recognize and apply biblical principles to different situations he faces in a local congregation. Since the study focuses on the pastor's call and spiritual life, as well as his pastoral duties, it emphasizes both being and doing.

Old Testament Literature: 3 Credits
This course is a study of beginnings. It shows how the ancient inspired Hebrew writers expresses in narrative form a record of God’s saving deeds from the beginning of God’s work with all humankind. From these narratives, students can see God’s unfolding plan of redemption through what Christian believe unfolding plan of redemption through what Christians believe to be God’s revelation. Concepts like covenant, priesthood, law, trust, faithfulness, and righteousness come from the Old Testament. Such knowledge is basic to understanding the New Testament. The Old Testament is the only Bible Jesus, His followers, and the early believers had. Storytelling is one of the oldest methods of communication from one generation to the next. Learn to tell God’s story from the record of the Old Testament and be equipped to pass it on to your generation and those who follow.

Assemblies of God History, Missions, and Governance: 2 Credits
A study of the historical development of the Assemblies of God, the history of the mission’s movement in the Assemblies of God and the ecclesiastical governance of the Fellowship. Attention is given to the General Council Constitution and Bylaws in relation to credentialed ministers, local churches, and district councils.
